About four years ago, I was asked if I knew how to do and teach origami? At that time, I did not. I told the person whom inquired, "Give me six months, and I will learn how to do it".
I did learn, and here I am teaching it to you! Origami is a math-based craft (geometry). While in school, I hated geometry! What is a surprise to me, is I love origami - who knew!!
This particular model is the "Mesu" or Simple Box. The Japanese use this as a container for small items. I can picture putting something small and light in it like buttons.
Lets get started! All you need are: your hands; plastic credit card to crease with; 8.5" square sheet of copy paper. Actually, any size square sheet of paper will work.

As you can probably tell by my past posts, I am on a redecorating binge! It has become a game with me! "How do I dress up my house and yard for very little money?"
Well, in the case of my bathroom, first it is very small and windowless. So, I have used what I have already have in the house. This is towels & washcloths which just happen to be in my favorite color combos (pink, purple, & lavender). Also, I created an Iris Folding Picture from what I had in the house. All, total, I spent less than $50 on the bathroom redecorating. But, I am not thru - so, stay tuned!
